STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS

The Briarcliff Manor Education Foundation has established a scholarship for current seniors at Briarcliff High School who plan to enroll in a full-time course of study at an accredited college or university.

The scholarship will be awarded to a student who wants to be a primary or secondary school teacher or who demonstrates outstanding commitment to promoting, developing and enhancing primary and secondary education.

Students must complete the application and mail it with their high school transcript no later than April 1st. Applicants are solely responsible for gathering and submitting all necessary information. All information submitted is confidential and will be reviewed only by the BMEF.

Up to two awards will be given in the amount of $1000. Scholarship recipients will be selected on the basis of academic achievement, leadership and participation in school, community and/or work experiences related to the intention of the scholarship, and recommendation by an adult. The scholarship will be awarded in June. A check will be given to the student.
